This report is a final product of a research project, called EU-GRASP that aimed at a better understanding of the EU’s role in regional and global peace and security issues. Undertaking this was a fascinating and challenging task, especially as the subject matter was, for various reasons, a real moving target.

‘The EU and Multilateralism: Nine recommendations’ has been published. This policy brief contains nine points which are the result of research and debate about the EU and multilateralism and are intended to convey some of the ideas that have emerged in our seminars and documents. We present them as a contribution to the EU-wide debate on the role of the European Union in global and regional multilateralism.
